We the undersigned urge Post Office Limited to keep open the post office branch in St Peter’s Street, St Albans.

This long-standing branch has been an essential part of our community for generations. It is a vital hub for all our residents and businesses, particularly older and vulnerable people. Many rely on its services for sending mail, banking, bill payments, and accessing vital government services. The loss of this branch will especially impact those who lack access to online alternatives. Small businesses in the area also depend on its proximity to run their operations smoothly.

While we recognise the challenges faced by the Post Office, we firmly believe that cutting such a crucial community service is not the answer. We urge the Post Office to explore alternative solutions that preserve this vital branch.
