Vote for your local Lib Dem candidate Naina Bloom 2 May!

Naina Bloom has lived in St Albans since 2013 with her two school-aged children and parents. Like so many families, she’s experienced first-hand the difficulties of navigating a career, being a single parent and a secondary carer for her parents.

Naina believes St Albans is a special place, and she wants to help promote the friendly feel St Albans is famous for. She plans to bring her skills in project management and logistics to focus on solutions to issues that arise whilst continuing to celebrate diversity. She is passionate about creating stability and inclusion across the city and widening support for both the youth and vulnerable communities.

District councillor Jacqui Taylor has been a councillor in St Peters since 2018, and has led the progress on social housing since the Lib Dems took over the council. This includes getting rid of poor quality temporary housing and launching the decarbonisation strategy for up to 5000 council homes. She's well-known for walking around the ward, reporting local issues to be fixed.

Chris White (County Councillor)

Phone: 01727 845300

Chris White has served as the Herts county councillor for St Albans Central division since 1993 and is now leader of the district council. His vision for St Albans includes a new local plan– one which puts the climate emergency at its heart, and making the centre more of a ‘café society’, with less traffic in the city centre and sensible pedestrianisation. Chris aims to make it easier and safer for people in St Albans to walk and cycle.
