Petition for Safer, Quieter and Healthier Residential Streets
Many of you have been telling us about how concerned you are about traffic speed and road safety around St Albans, Harpenden and the villages. Liberal Democrats believe that there should be 20mph speed limits within towns. This will:
- Reduce accidents
- Encourage people to switch to walking and cycling
- Help combat climate change.
We also believe that the limits on roads between towns and villages are often too high.
