Chris’s priorities for the district council going forward are to protect the Green Belt and to deliver more funding for road repairs.

Jamie Day has lived in St Albans for over thirty years, and has represented Colney Heath and the villages since 2006.

His main priorities for the area are to prevent inappropriate development on the Green Belt, to fight against the proposed incinerator at Hatfield, and to ensure the children of Colney Heath ward have school places in St Albans.

John Hale

John Hale was elected as the county councillor for Colney Heath & Marshalswick in 2017. He is also currently chair of Sandridge Parish Council.

As a county councillor, Chris takes a particularly interest in environmental issues, successfully proposing a motion that the council produces a pollinator action plan, as well as waste management issues. He has also taken a keen interest and in both the fire service and police.

As a Sandridge parish councillor, John has been leading on the development of a nNeighbourhood plan for the parish.

John is active with St Albans Quieter Skies campaigning against the environmental impact of Luton and Heathrow airports.
