I am delighted that Ed Davey MP is coming to St Albans tomorrow (Friday 13th April) to speak about his experiences of fending off a proposed Tesco superstore in his south London constituency.

I wrote about this success previously.  Ed is the first to say that they are by no means out of the wood yet.  Tesco will come back with other plans.  And there are opportunities they will have missed in their campaign.  Equally we in St Albans can learn from their successes. So I guess tomorrow's meeting will be in the nature of a conversation between Ed and local campaigners in St Albans.  The meeting takes place at 6.30 pm tomorrow (Friday 13th) in the Lower Hall of the Trinity United Reform Church, 1 Beaconsfield Road, St Albans.  I hope to see many of you there.
