The school funding crisis is hitting schools hard across St Albans – and Liberal Democrats are calling on the Government to provide an emergency cash injection.
Due to Conservative cuts since 2015, many schools can no longer afford basic equipment or enough teachers to ensure a full curriculum is taught.
The Liberal Democrats are demanding better for our children, ensuring no one is left behind.
They are calling on the Government to provide an emergency £2.2billion cash injection – the equivalent of £113,000 per school.
Daisy Cooper, the Lib Dem’s parliamentary spokesperson (pictured on the left), said: “Our plan will give schools the resources they need for teachers to teach and pupils to learn by investing £2.2billion back into education.”
