Burns supper 2021

"To see ourselves as others see us",

"the best laid plans of mice and men",

"for auld lang syne" ... lyrics, phrases and lines from Robert Burns poetry and songs are common and well loved around the whole world.

Following the roaring success of our Zoom-fuelled Annual Dinner, we're going to celebrate Robert Burns, Scotland and that 300 year old union with a Burns Supper - will you join us?

On Friday 29th January 2021, at 7pm, join us online with a traditional, 3-course meal delivered to your home, provided by the Great Northern Pub & Kitchen.

The evening's entertainment: We'll have a couple of poems (with translations provided), a short review of "Burns the Liberal" and then a talk on Scotland, Liberalism and the next Independence Referendum (with Q&A) by Alex Cole-Hamilton, the deputy leader of the Scottish Lib Dems.
